I checked into the hospital at 9:00 on Wed. night and at 9:33 the next morning she came. Course it came so fast that my mom and Suzie missed it. Instead of saying "It's a Girl" Dr. Huish held her up for me to see, course it took me a good 5 seconds to put it together that Yes this was a girl, from that moment on I couldn't help but cry. It took a couple of days to figure out a name, which was the hardest part. During the whole pregnancy I had a boys name but could not decide on a girls. Nothing seemed right. I had told Angie to use Presley so I hadn't even considered it until a week before when I kept thinking about that name, but I thought it was too late since it was one of Angie's top 2 but right before I had her she told me she had decided on another name and that I was free to use it. Once I saw her that is the only name that seemed right. So Presley Ann it is after my middle name and my mother in law's middle name.
The hospital was great I LOVE the new Banner Gateway, I stayed for 3 days and would have stayed longer if they let me. Ordering food all day long and the 3 p.m. Mommy & Baby cookie time.YUMMY! J and Hud were absolutely in love with her. My whole pregnancy J was certain it was a girl and only wanted a girl so I am so glad he got his wish. Hud loves to hold her and is so good with her not jealous at all.
Thanks so much for all the help with my boys while I was in the hospital and everyone coming and bringing my Girly things to doll her up . Also thanks to Suzie for posting about Miss Presley right away so everyone could hear the Great news.
Love at first sight. He was totally smitten and wouldn't give her back to me.
