Most of you know that I am somewhat obsessed with T.V. , I am a T.V. aholic,f iend, nut, buff. I have seen pretty much every show and have them all on my DVR list. At certain times I am taping 4 shows at once and Yes I do find the time to watch them. Though I do not watch in the day anymore. I watch my programs after everyone is asleep and before everyone wakes up, and with DVR I can watch 4 hrs. of tv in 3. So this week is one of my favorite of the year. Premiere Week! My favorite shows come back and new ones get added to the list. The only downside to this is that some of my shows are not returning and some that I will inevitably fall in love with, will not make it. So here is my reviews on the shows.
Monday night:
Heroes- This is defienelty my top pick, all that hype isn't for nothing it is an incredible show. As long as you are into sci-fi. The show last night was great, I was so intrigues by Mr. Kensei and can't wait to find out what is up with Peter. If you have not watched this I would sugget you rent the first season and start taping this one. It is going to be a great Season 2.
Dancing With the Stars- I love love this show, who doesn't like to watch celebs dance. Ever since Drew Lachey I have been hooked and this year's cast is one of a kind. Jenny Garth is my top pick, mainly because well I like her the best, but it is anyone's game.
How I Met Your Mother- I just started watching this last season and was immediately hooked. I adore Allyson Hannigan from my fav. show Buffy, and her cute as can be husband are such a great on screen couple but my favorite is Barney (Neil Patrick Harris aka Doogie Howser) It is LOL funny and you need to watch at least once. Guest apperances by Enrique Inglesias, and Mandy Moore!
Rules of Engagement- this one I am actually kind of suprised it stayed on the air, don't get me wrong it is good, but I am shocked everyone else thought so as well. I am sometimes alone in my views. My #1 draw was Mr. Oliver Hudson from Dawson's Creek which is funny cause his on-screen fiance was also on Dawsons Creek My # 2 draw is Patrick Warburton who was on Seinfeld ( Mr. David Putty) his sense of humor is so dry, and fresh.
Journeyman- this is a new show about a man who is traveling through time, but doesn't know how he is doing it or for what purpose. I enjoyed it, not the best show ever but it definitely has me intrigued. This show will stay on my DVR.
Please let me know what you think.

Crystal did you forget about the Bachelor? Or are you not into that? I was not prepared for this week. I forgot to set up my DVR for my 3 shows: Desperate, Bachelor, and The Office. I made it home last night with 2 minutes to spare for The Bachelor. Since I don't watch any of the shows you talked about, I'll have to check back on Friday for your review of The Office. I can't wait!
How do you record 4 shows at once? I love tv too and this week is going to be a good one! When do you go to costa rica??? how fun!
This is what I think....You watch way too much T.V!!!
Happy Birthday Suz! Hope you have a great one.
Crystal, see you at Bunc!!
I'm trying to get caught up with Heroes' 1st season. It's AWESOME! I have the new show DVR'd and waiting for me to finish the rest of the 1st season. I am in love with premiere week, too!! Happy TV week!
Crystal, you crack me up! I was going to mention something in my tv blog about you and your love for tv. Do you still watch all of the shows on the WB? Or i guess it's CW now. I looove premiere week too. Heroes was amazing, and I have yet to see the premiere of Journeyman which I have on DVR. did you ever watch Six Degrees on ABC? I really liked that show and was kinda bummed when it was cancelled. We'll have to chat about the season premiere of The Office on Friday. I can't wait!
I love Heroes! Although I'm tempted to just wait until it comes out on DVD and watch it all at once! I am not a TV buff and have not seen or heard of any of the other shows on the list. But that's what I have Crystal for, right?
Hey I've never seen any of those shows! I better get crackin'.
Finally a mom who is obsessed w/TV as I am!! I am WAY excited for the office!! Did you watch Chuck on Monday night? LOVED it! I hope it does really well. Do you not watch Prison Break?? Um, cuz only the HOTTEST of the Hotties are on Prison Break!! :)
What would I do without my shows???? Damon wishes they were gone!
I am totally addicted to t.v. too. This is an exciting week with all the new shows. I haven't seen any of the ones you told about. James is totally into Heros I missed the first season, but totally want to catch up. Some of the shows I am watching are Desperate housewives, Prison Break, Bachelor, Biggest Loser, Greys Anatomy, Survivor and CSI las vegas. Thank goodness for DVR!!!
P.S. Do you know anyone who has the 1st season of Heros on DVD? And I would highly recommend Chuck on Monday nights....it was really good!
to kristina... we got caught up with season 1 of Heroes by renting them via netflix. It is pretty inexpensive, and there is a quick turnaround to getting the dvd's via mail. have fun! it's totally worth the twenty hours of tv viewing time.
