Huddy's 6 Month

Jackson of course had to get in on the action
Right before Hudson turned 6 months old he began cutting his first tooth and by the time he was 6mo. he had his first tooth and a couple of weeks later was getting his second. Hud also went on his first plane ride across country. When we got home from Pennsylvania he started scooting and getting up on all fours. After his second vacation to Cali he had mastered the army crawl. My baby has also picked this month to become completely attached to me and perfect the art of the blood curdling scream. If for a second he cannot see me he start screaming and it is not a normal baby cry, it is so high pitched that dogs come running. He also decided that while on vacation he would wake up every two hours and not go back to sleep until he was fed, which I gave in to because of the other guest staying next to us in the next room. I can't wait for the next half of the year.

Fishing Trip

A couple months ago Stephen & Jack went fishing with my stepdad Lance and his son Zac. He loved it, Jackson loved everything about fishing and the fish. They are also one of his favorite food. Jackson caught one of the only fishes caught that night, not even his dad did.

PA

Well this last week the the boys and I went on a trip down to Pennsylvania with my dads family. It was quite an adventure from day 1. Taking a 4 hour plane ride with 2 small boys is hard enough without a husband but a 10 hour one is even harder. We arrived at the airport at around 10am and didnt get to PA till 10pm, with layovers and bad weather it didn't make for the easiest flight but we made it and the boys did better than expected under the conditions. Course the whole time Jackson kept saying when are we going to get to Georgia, ( he thought that is where we were going, since that was the original plan) he couldn't let it go, I am sure everyone on the plane was wondering why he thought we were going to Georgia. On Tuesday we stayed in Pittsburgh and went to Kennywood, a theme park, Jackson loved it but the humidity was killing me. So the first ride we went on we got soaked and it was great the rest of the day. I even got to try some deep fried oreos and they were goood! We drove to Dubois that night where my Grandma Shirley and Uncle Timmy's family live. The rest of the week we was mostly hanging out with family and eating. A couple of nights we went bowling and Jackson had 3 strikes(with bumpers of course) but he actually beat me the first game by 15 points and I was also playing with bumpers, sad I know. We also went Canoeing in Cooks Forest, it was a lot harder than I though it would be. Mostly because the water was so low we kept getting stuck on rocks, my dad actually fell in, course he told everyone he jumped in saving Jackson! On the last day we got to see my dads old haunts in the town he grew up in New Castle, I also got to see the house I lived in for a year when I was a baby. It was so great to see family, but I don't know that I will take another 5 day vacation without Steve, we sure missed him. I am so glad to be back and can't wait to go to Cali next week with his family.

I thought Jack was going to fall out, but he made it.

Heather got soaked on one of the rides, I don't think she was counting on that.

the crapiest put put course ever
Hudson had a blow out in the car while I was changing him I propped him up against the steering wheel and well I couldn't resist.

My grandmas house is great she lived right on a golf course with a forest surrounding her. Everyday you can see tons of deer at every turn. Jackson loved seeing them.

My dad kept buying this pizza all week, it was so good and Ginormous, plus it was only like $14, I sure wish we had one here.

We were really into ice cream and hot chocoalte this week and at one point Jackson had both at the same time.
My first house
The Coney Island chili dogs my dad made us get in New Castle
The plane ride home was much better since we had the whole row to ourselves

Welcome baby Casey

The newest arrival to the Cummard Clan is Lee Casey Cummard Jr. aka Casey. He was born on July 9th weighing in at 8 lbs and 21 and a half inches. Congrats to Lee & Sarah, he is such a cute baby. We can't wait to see him.

2007 Lebaron Reunion "Heroes"

After the 4th we went back up to the cabin for our annual reunion. Stephen's family is so great they are all so close even though there is so many of them. I love being in this family, it is so different then how I grew up since I only had 4 cousins total! Each year a different family hosts the reunion at the Cabin compound, this year the Michael and Chris Lebaron family did it. The theme was Heroes and we were Batman. On the first night we were supposed to decorate our capes and there were some neat games to play. Jakcson said Batman was too scary so he wouldn't wear his cape the whole time. It was great the two competitions were cup stacking and domino stacking. If you know the Cummards you know how competitive they are and I am not just talking about the guys, sometimes I think the girls have a meaner competitive streak. Anyhow I saw that we had no marks on the board so I went to see why noone in our family had played yet and the answer was they didn't know about it. As soon as I told them Syd, Summer, Kanoe and Parker were in the room trying to get the best score. It got pretty intense. The rest of the reunion was a ton of fun. Even though Hudson was cutting his first tooth. We even had a dance off, I didn't get enough pics, but Stephen did get down! Here are some pics of the weekendThe boys playing with lizards and snakes-Only boys
Hudson's new favorite place to be, everytime he is sad we put him up on daddy's shoulders and he is happy as can be.

Independence Day

Chandler, Jackson and Brayden watching the fireworks, this lasted only and couple minutes before the kids all went inside to play.

Me and my baby
Justin & Daisy
The Richins family
On the 4th we invited some friends and family over to watch the fireworks and eat some food. It went pretty well except at around 9:00 everyone was doubting that we could see the fireworks from our house, even though I was positive. Since I see them 3 times a year from Schnepf Farms. Course at around 9:15 even I was gettting nervous, but the started right after that. We also mad homemade Chocolate Banana Ice Cream that never ended up stopping so we had to just take it out, it was freezing and pretty hard but it still tasted great. Thanks to everyone that came for making it such a fun night.

Fun in the Sun

Well on the 4th of July we were having people over to watch the fireworks from Schnepf Farms. So Steve stayed home all day to do yard work. Being that it was so super hot. We got out our bouncy thingy and Steve set the hose up to spray on it. Jackson and him had a blast getting wet and playing in it, though I am suprised they didn't break it.

Cabin Fever

For P-dogs birthday we went to the swimming hole, this is as far in as Jackson would venture. He is quite the cautious one when it comes to some things.
This is after the swimming hole, we all went to Taco Bell a little white trash!

Here is Jackson & Baby Sally
Here are the babies, Jonnie, Hudson, Sally, Logan and Tilley. We substituted baby Logan for baby Casey (Lee and Sarah's which wasn't born yet)
These are the cousins throwing rocks up in the air for the bats. Whatever that means. About 2 minutes later Grumpy Pigs were spotted and it went crazy everyone running for their lives, poor Conway got left behind while his mother ran into the cabin. Don't worry Aunt Syd rescued him. The rest of the night the adult women had to be walked to their cabins and rooms for fear of an attack from the Grumpy's.

Here is my handsome boy all dirtied up.
Well the weekend before the 4th of July we went up to the cabin and stayed until the 4th. It was a grand old time. We played games, ate tons and even celebrated Parker Jr's. B-day on the 3rd. Here are some highlights from the trip.

Swimming

Well I know it has been ages since I have posted but it is with good reason. I have for the better part of 2 weeks been out of town. So I have quite a lot of things to catch all of you up on. Here goes. A couple weeks ago Angie invited me over swimming at Jenna's house. Here house is awesome and her pool aint too bad either. Jackson had a blast, he loved playing with Jenn's boys, and they did more for his confidence swimming than I ever could. He was swimming the whole time by himself course it was mainly dog paddling but he wasw doing it all alone. I was actually suprised he didn't drown from exhaustion of the dog paddling. All in all a good day. Thanks Jenna for letting us come over and hang.
