Only Jackson

On Wednesday after T-ball practice, the kids were playing at the park not 5 min. into it I see Jack crying so I said lets go. While I am walking to my car people keep asking me if he is alright, I am like sure he's fine, then Melanie was like is that blood. Sure enough he was bleeding under his chin. It looked pretty bad but we couldn't see much in the dark so we headed over to Mel's house and it was bad so I called Stephen to meet us at the Dr. office for the second time that day and to call Lafe, luckily he was already there doing Twilight Pediatrics. I dropped Hud off at my dad's on the way there. No one was in the office so we went right back. Now this is Jackson's 3rd time getting stitches/staples, the first was the night before Lee and Sarah's wedding when he cut the heel of his foot running around the church building after the dinner, Lafe met us at the office at 10:00 at night, it was a complete nightmare it took both Stephen and I to hold him down and what seemed like an hour. We were sweating bullets after, I never knew a one year old could be so strong ( 18stitches) next was last year he fell off a huge fort at the Clouse's which resulted in 3 or 4 staples to the back of the head. So on with the story, this time we were able to strap him and a great little device which held his arms and legs put, while the nurse held his head and I his hands ( Stephen had to sit down he was getting a little queasy). He screamed and screamed yelling at us to please not do the shot and to take the scissors away, it was so sad, seeing your baby in pain is just the worst thing ever. He got 4 stitches and as soon as it was done he was running around again asking for a sticker. Sadly I didn't have my camera on me but Stephen did get some shots on his phone so I will get those soon.

I have no idea how none of my boys have had any stitches. I am sure they needed them a few times, but oh well. Poor Jackson. Also, you have been busy. Between you and Kanoe you both have so much going on, I can't keep up. Hudson is so cute, can't believe he is almost one. Time for a girl!!! mini Crystal-she'll be PERFECT!

Ooooh. That's a tender spot there. You'd think it would be difficult to injure because it's kind of hidden, but you always see adults with a scar just right there! I'm glad he's smiling again!

Poor Jackson. It's the worst having to hold down your kid like that. Halleigh dove out of the shopping cart at Target and split her bottom lip wide open. The doc had to give her the "date rape" drug so they could sew her lip up. It was awful. I can totally empathize. I can't believe he was running around asking for a sticker not even 5 minutes after! He's a stud!

Awww...how sad. But chicks dig scars, so I'm sure he'll appreciate them in the future:). What an active little thing! He is so cute:)

I don't know how you do it! I can barley watch my kids get a little shot.
That picture of Huddy is the sweetest ever!

Okay those pictures are so sad. I would be crying along with him if I would have been there. Never a dull moment when Jacksons around.

oh crystaly thats awful! Mason has a scar in the EXACT same spot on his chin (I don't even remember what from) We had watch Hunter get staples in his head when he was 4; ever since then we super glue it shut if we can--thats what we did w/Mason. I can't stand watching them have to go through that. (I love the last picture w/his big ol' smile!! That makes it all better!)

Those top two pictures are about the saddest thing. I'm glad that he was happy afterward. I don't think I ever commented about it, but you and Stephen had the best Halloween costumes. I loved the pictures! Thanks for the birthday wishes!
