Full of it

With Jackson it was all about the binkie. But with Hudson I can't get him to get his fist out of his mouth, even when I am feeding him he will jam it in there and I have to pry it out. He is too cute.

Long time no Blog

It feels like forever since I have blogged. Suzanne says I am neglecting my duties. The last few days everytime I was on my computer I was working on turning my home videos into a DVD for Jackson. I told Steve that we needed a Mac computer so I could do all this great stuf, like make movies and I chat. And so far I have done squat. So I thought it was time, and after many many hours and a few phone calls to Angie, I made my first one. A DVD of Jackson's first 2 years along with picture slideshows. I gotta tell you I am pretty proud of myself. Even though I have not been doing my own posting, I have still kept up on all of yours and am proud to say that you are all doing a tremendous job! I love learning all about you and your families so keep it up.

Easter

What a great Easter weekend we had. Every year it gets better, it is so much fun to see how much Jackson loves it more and more. On Easter Sunday my nieces and nephew were giving a lesson about the Savior when they asked why we celebrate Easter and my sweet nephew Cooper who is 5 shouted with such excitement because "Jesus Lives". How sweet to see how children love the Savior.I hope we can all have that much joy and enthusiasm when we talk about the Ressurection. It was a great day. Jackson got his first bike from the Easter Bunny. He is a little behind most kids have been riding bikes for a while some without training wheels. So his dad thought it was time he started. He got off to a rough start, which was frustrating Stephen a bit, but he is steadily improving. At the easter egg hunt at the Cummards he was a little slow in getting the eggs he kind of just waited for the other kids to put the eggs in his basket. He is not used to having to fight to get the eggs being the only child at our egg hunt. He of course wound up crying, what is a holiday without a tantrum or two. Then all the cousins got to take turns hiding eggs and when it was the posse's turn ( all the 3 year old cousins) they did a bang up job. Around one of the trees there was a ring of eggs, it was quite amusing. All in all it was a wonderful day spent with family. Hope you all had a great Easter as well.

More people are joining the blogging world every day, and I love it. It is just such a good way to catch up with old friends. No greater feeling

Tonight my Jackson came up to me out of the blue, wrapped his arms around me and said " Your beautiful mom and I love you". Well you can bet that made my day. There is nothing I love more than hearing him tell me that. He is going to grow up to be the sweetest boy, a real ladies man. Boys are the best.

I know, I can hardly believe it. I have been feeling a little sick lately so I took a test and it was positive. So of course I took like 3 more that were all positive. Then the doctor confirmed it. So I wasn't planned but I am still super excited. This makes up for the gap between my first two. Can't wait

Our Future Bowler

Jackson loved to bowl so we went to the lanes yesterday and it was a blast. Everytime he knocks them down he gets so excited and comes running back to us for Hi Fives. He really gets into it, he loves when it is his turn so by the end of the game he bowled all of our turns as well. He is actually a pretty good bowler I think he came pretty close to beating Stephen's score.

Books

I don't know how many of you like to read, but I love it. The only problem is I will just keep reading the same book over and over, because I have nothing new to read. The only time I get a new one is if someone reccomends it. So I was hoping you guys could give me reccomendations for books that you have read and love. I just finished reading The Giver (for the 3rd time, it is that good) by Lois Lowry. It is a short book and easy to read. I am now reading The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks that my mother-in-law Cheryl told me about. It is a sequel to The Notebook. So far I am really enjoying it. I will be waiting for your ideas.

The Office

Well it's official there will be a new episode next week. Starting at 7:00 and lasting 40 minutes. It is about bloody time. I don't know about you, but I have been having serious withdrawls. So don't forget to set your DVR/Tivo.

Congratulations to all those who have started a blog (Jill & Jenna). I couldn't be more excited, I absolutely love looking at all of the blogs. Now to those who have yet to start a blog here is what I have to say. If you have time to look at blogs you have time to do one, and it is not hard at all. Also if you think you have nothing to say and are boring, I gaurantee you are not, I know everyone will love to look at your blog. So it is time to start. It is the best way to keep up with old friends who you have lost touch with, friends you see all the time and those that are out of the state. We want to see you and your family.
